HOUSTON – Steve Kherkher is suing his former business partner, John Eddie Williams, and law firm.
Kherkher, a national trial lawyer specializing in toxic torts, filed the suit on Dec. 30 in Harris County District Court – naming Williams Hart Boundas & Easterby LLP as the primary defendant.
The lawsuit cannot be accessed online and was filed under seal, according to the District Clerk’s Office.
Williams was one of the attorneys who represented Texas in the 1995 landmark legal battle against Big Tobacco.
Until recently, Williams Hart was known as Williams Kherkher, a law firm that routinely made headlines by obtaining multimillion-dollar jury awards.
Kherkher is currently a partner at Kherkher Garcia, a Houston law firm.
