HOUSTON — A Harris County area homeowners association director and his brother are claiming defamation against a neighbor who accused them of stealing HOA monies.
Craig Loosemore and Kevin Loosemore filed a complaint Jan. 23 in the Harris County District against Cynthia Warren alleging defamation.
Craig Loosemore was elected as a director to his homeowners association in the Green Place subdivision in Harris County on April 17, 2018. The plaintiffs allege a neighbor in the subdivision posted defamatory statements about the two Loosemore brothers. They claim Warren accused them on a social media platform of trying to take money out of the association's bank account, going through neighbor's mailboxes and cars and filing "frivolous lawsuits" against the association.
