Kroger grocery faces suit by woman who allegedly slipped on condensation at Richmond store

RICHMOND — Kroger is facing a negligence suit filed by woman alleging she slipped, fell and suffered injuries at its Richmond store. 

Nona Walker filed a complaint Jan. 14 in the Fort Bend County District Court against Kroger Texas alleging premises liability and negligence. 

Walker, who was 60 years old at the time, was shopping at a Kroger grocery store in Richmond on Jan. 26, 2019. She alleges that while at the checkout, she slipped and fell on  "condensation/water" that had been left on the floor and suffered injuries.  Walker claims Kroger failed to maintain its premises in a safe condition. 

Walker seeks monetary relief, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Jeffrey Todd of The Todd Law Group PLLC in Houston.
