DALLAS — Wardlaw Consulting is facing allegations by a former adjuster that it failed to pay its employees for overtime.

Billy Gipson filed a complaint Feb 25 in the Dallas Division of the Northern District of Texas against Wardlaw Consulting Services Inc., Wardlaw Claims Service, William Wardlaw, Michael Wardlaw and Rebecca Wardlaw alleging  violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Gipson and the other plaintiffs all performed similar job duties while working for Wardlaw which provides catastrophic and insurance adjusting services to insurance companies. Gipson alleges that he and other non-exempt hourly-paid adjusters worked over 40 hours per week but were prohibited from reporting all of their hours and were not paid overtime.

Gipson seeks monetary relief, interest and all other appropriate relief. He is represented by J. Derek Braziel, Travis Gasper and Elizabeth Beck of Lee & Braziel LLP in Dallas.
