GALVESTON — A woman is claiming her Ford F350 had a defective parking brake which caused the vehicle to roll over her.

Tammy Schoeneman and Ricky Isam filed a complaint March 26 in the Galveston County District Court against Ford Motor Company and Texas City Ford Partners LLC doing business as Cook Ford alleging products liability and negligence.

Schoeneman, who was 46-years old at the time, was exiting her 2019 Ford F350 that was purchased from Texas City Ford on Dec. 18, 2019. The plaintiffs allege that despite the truck being placed in park, it began to roll and caused Schoeneman to be crushed.

The plaintiffs seek monetary relief, trial by jury, interest and all other just relief. They are presented by Jeffrey Todd of The Todd Law Group PLLC in Houston and Clint McGuire of Martinez &. McGuire LLP in Houston.
