HOUSTON — Home Depot is facing a suit after an employee was struck in the head by a pallet of merchandise and suffered injuries.

Linda Cage filed a complaint April 13 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Home Depot U.S.A., Inc., alleging negligence.

Cage was working at Home Depot in Houston on May 9, 2018. She alleges that when a co-worker moved a pallet of merchandise from a trailer she was unloading, an unsecured load fell off a pallet jack and struck her in the head. Cage claims Home Depot failed to follow OSHA regulations, failed properly train and supervise its employees and other claims.

Cage seeks monetary relief of more than $75,000, interest, trial by jury and all other just relief. She is represented by J. Robert Black of Black Law PC in Houston.
