HOUSTON — A woman is claiming the negligence of Baybrook Mall in Houston after allegedly slipping on a spill and suffering injuries.

Jeanna Valdez filed a complaint March 31 against Baybrook Mall LLC and Millard Mall Servcies Inc., alleging negligence and premises liability.

Valdez was at Baybrook Mall in Friendswood on July 19, 2019. She alleges she slipped and fell on a "slippery grey substance" around the security desk and suffered serious injuries. Valdez claims Baybrook failed to timely clean up the alleged spill and inspect the property for dangerous conditions.

Valdez seeks monetary relief of more than $75,000, trial by jury, interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Attorney Sofia Bruera in Houston.
