HOUSTON – Walmart was recently hit with a slip and fall lawsuit seeking up to $1 million in damages.

Julia Haynes filed suit against Wal-Mart Stores Texas on July 28 in Harris County District Court.

According to her lawsuit, on April 3, 2019, Haynes was walking into a bathroom at the Walmart Supercenter on Yale Street when she slipped and fell because of “an unreasonably wet floor that was unclean.”

Haynes maintains Walmart was grossly negligent and acted with malice by failing to correct the dangerous condition.

She is suing for her past and future pain, mental anguish, impairment, lost earnings and disfigurement.

Houston attorney Jeffrey Todd represents her.
