HOUSTON – Kevin Bobo wants more than $1 million in damages for alleged injuries he received while playing softball at Houston Sportsplex two years ago.

Bobo filed the suit Dec. 12 in Harris County District Court, also naming Barry Horvitz and James Emerson as defendants.

According to the lawsuit, on Dec. 13, 2018, Bobo was playing softball at Sportsplex when another player (John Doe) collided into him, causing him to sustain “significant injuries.”

The suit fails to provide any further details of the incident or describe Bobo’s alleged injuries.

The suit does, however, accuse the defendants of negligently “failing to enforce safety rules and regulations to keep invitees safe.”

Bobo is suing for his past and future mental anguish, pain and medical expenses.

Houston attorney Clive Markland of Roberts Markland represents him.
