HOUSTON – A woman is suing the Altitude Trampoline Park in Katy after she allegedly injured herself by falling into the ball pit

Plaintiff Christian Grae filed the lawsuit in the Harris County Circuit Court against GNG Times FW HS LLC, and MMB Trampoline Investments, LLC, citing negligence and premises liability.

According to the lawsuit, Grae was a patron at the Altitude Trampoline Park in Katy, TX, on Dec. 10, 2021. Grae claims that while she was playing with her children at the ball pit, an employee handed her a trapeze but neglected to give her any kind of instruction or warning. She claims that she grabbed the trapeze without any fall protection or harness and fell into the ball pit, seriously injuring herself.

According to Grae, the defendants negligently failed to protect the safety of their visitors by failing to provide adequate supervision, provide a safe environment, properly maintain the premises, and properly train their employees.

Grae claims that as a result of the defendants' negligence, she has suffered serious injuries that have caused her to experience pain, suffering, lost wages, mental anguish, and physical impairment. She states that her injuries will impact her ability to earn income and enjoy a normal life, and she adds that she has incurred medical expenses and will continue to require the services of medical staff to recover from her injuries.

The plaintiff is seeking damages in excess of $250,000, but less than $1,000,000, plus interest, court costs, and any other relief the court deems proper. She is represented in this case by attorneys Jack Nugent and M. Paul Skrabanek, of Pierce Skrabanek, PLLC in Houston.
