Texas Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Co. has filed a lawsuit against Nora Ramos in the County Civil Court of Harris County, Texas, under the case ID 1225491, dated April 3, 2024. The suit alleges that Ramos was responsible for an accident that resulted in damages paid by the plaintiff on behalf of its insured party.

The incident occurred on June 26, 2022, around noon, when Ramos allegedly failed to yield the right of way and struck the vehicle insured by the plaintiff. The plaintiff's lawyers from The Fusselman Law Firm argue that Ramos' negligence was the sole cause of this incident. The total damage incurred from this accident amounts to $62.12, which includes total loss damages, salvage expenses, and personal injury protection (PIP) deductible reimbursement.

The plaintiff is seeking recovery for these damages along with reasonable attorney's fees and costs of court as provided for by Insurance Code §542.302. This section allows insurers to recover additional payments made due to losses covered under a private passenger automobile insurance policy if the responsible third party was uninsured at the time of the incident.
