Man sues Carrillo Auto Sales for negligence after dog bite incident

Donald Sawyer has filed a lawsuit against Arnulfo Carrillo and Carrillo Auto Sales, Inc. in the District Court of Harris County, Texas (Court Case ID: 2024-30075) on May 10, 2024. The lawsuit arises from an incident involving a dog bite that occurred on May 13, 2022.

Sawyer alleges that while helping close shop at Carrillo Auto Sales, Inc., he was bitten by a German shepherd owned by Arnulfo Carrillo. The plaintiff claims that the defendants negligently allowed the dog to roam freely, resulting in injuries to his leg and subsequent medical expenses. Attorneys Christopher J. Davila and Jesus G. Davila represent Sawyer.

The plaintiff is seeking monetary relief between $200,000 and $1,000,000 for damages including past and future medical expenses, physical pain and suffering, mental anguish, disfigurement, and physical impairment.
