Willie Green has filed a lawsuit against OTR Fleet Service, LLC and R.W. Taylor, Inc. in the District Court of Harris County, Texas (Court Case ID: 2024-29738) on May 9, 2024. The lawsuit alleges negligence and gross negligence resulting in severe injuries to Green.

According to the filing, on March 11, 2024, Green was inspecting a load of lumber at R.W. Taylor, Inc.'s premises when an employee dropped the load onto his flatbed trailer without warning. This incident dislodged a support pole installed by OTR Fleet Service, LLC, which struck Green in the face causing significant injuries. Plaintiff's counsel includes C.J. Baker and Adam M. Grable from Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP.

Green is seeking over $1 million in damages for medical expenses, physical pain and suffering, mental anguish, lost wages, and earning capacity due to the alleged negligence of both defendants in improperly installing equipment and failing to follow safety protocols.

The plaintiff demands a jury trial and seeks actual damages along with exemplary damages as allowed by law.
