Man sues Quest Diagnostics for negligence after bicycle accident

Bruce Alan Buckner has filed a lawsuit against Quest Diagnostics, Incorporated and Tarori Mark in the District Court of Harris County, Texas (Court Case ID: 2024-29096) on May 6, 2024. The lawsuit alleges negligence after Buckner was struck by a vehicle driven by Mark, an employee of Quest Diagnostics, while he was riding his bicycle.

The incident occurred on November 23, 2022, when Buckner was crossing Park Ridge Way in Harris County. Mark, driving a vehicle owned by Quest Diagnostics during her employment duties, allegedly failed to yield and struck Buckner. As a result, Buckner suffered injuries to his head, neck, back, and other parts of his body. Representing Buckner are attorneys Cesar Tavares, Alma Reyes, Michael Samaniego, and Alejandro J. Salicrup from Williams Hart & Boundas.

Buckner is seeking monetary relief exceeding $1 million for medical expenses incurred and anticipated future costs due to the injuries sustained. He also seeks compensation for physical pain and suffering, mental anguish, loss of earnings capacity, and exemplary damages against both defendants for their alleged gross negligence.
