A Texas resident has filed a significant lawsuit against multiple corporations, alleging severe negligence leading to personal injury. Tamara Warren initiated the complaint on July 19, 2024, in Harris County District Court against Bellaire Wilcrest Elevia Inc., Krab Queenz Houston LLC, and several other related entities.
According to the filing, Warren's injury occurred on July 22, 2022, when she fell into a deep hole while walking along a worn path in front of the defendants' property at 2427 FM 1960 RD W in Houston. The plaintiff asserts that the hole was obscured by tall grass and lacked any warning signs or covers. "The hole was at least 24 inches in depth," states the petition, emphasizing that it had been present since at least 2015. Warren claims she exercised ordinary care and did not contribute to her injuries.
Warren accuses the defendants of multiple acts of negligence including failing to inspect and maintain the premises safely, not providing adequate warnings about unsafe conditions, and allowing substandard conditions to persist. She also cites violations of city ordinances and state codes such as the City of Houston Code of Ordinances §10-363(a) & (b)1, TAS 302.3 & 403.1-2; ADA 302.3; and others.
The plaintiff is seeking monetary relief exceeding $1 million for medical expenses, physical pain, mental anguish, loss of earning capacity, and other damages. Additionally, she requests exemplary damages for gross negligence claiming that the defendants acted with conscious indifference to her safety.
Represented by attorney Mynor “Eddie” Rodriguez from The Law Office of Mynor E. Rodriguez P.C., Warren demands a jury trial for this case which has been assigned Case ID: 2024-45433 under Judge Marilyn Burgess in Harris County District Court.
