The plaintiff, Cornelio Linares J.R., claims that while working for Broadway Roofing Company Houston Inc., he suffered significant bodily harm due to negligence on the part of his employer. According to the court documents, Linares was tasked with removing insulation from under a house at a job site located at 715 Bridge Bank La Porte, Texas. The allegations include failing to properly train and supervise him, neglecting to recognize and rectify unsafe conditions at the job site, and not providing adequate safety equipment or procedures. Additionally, the company is accused of failing to furnish safe tools and equipment necessary for completing work tasks safely. The petition highlights these failures as direct violations of their duty to provide a safe working environment.
