Victor Sanchez has filed a lawsuit against TDI Willow Creek Property, LLC and Realty Center Management, Inc., claiming negligence after suffering severe injuries due to unsafe conditions at his apartment complex. The complaint was filed on January 23, 2025, in the District Court of Harris County, Texas.

The case revolves around an incident that occurred on December 21, 2023, when Victor Sanchez, a resident of the Willow Creek Apartment Homes in Houston, Texas, fell through exposed plywood formwork outside his apartment unit. According to the plaintiff's petition, there were no warnings or notices about the ongoing remodeling work or the hazardous condition of the plywood. As a result of this fall, Sanchez sustained serious injuries to his back, elbows, torso, and buttocks and continues to receive medical treatment for these injuries.

Sanchez accuses TDI Willow Creek Property and Realty Center Management of negligence and gross negligence. He claims that the defendants failed in their duty to maintain a safe environment for residents by not providing adequate warnings about construction hazards and not ensuring safe work practices during renovations. The lawsuit asserts that the defendants had actual knowledge of the dangerous conditions but neglected to remedy them or warn residents like Sanchez.

In his petition, Sanchez outlines multiple failures by the defendants including not complying with safety regulations, failing to perform construction work safely, not notifying residents about ongoing work outside their units, and neglecting to maintain policies for safe work practices. The plaintiff argues that these actions demonstrate a reckless disregard for safety and requests exemplary damages as well as compensation for physical pain and suffering, mental anguish, loss of earnings, medical expenses both past and future, physical disfigurement and impairment.

Represented by attorneys Jason Webster from Webster Vicknair Macleod law firm among others from the same firm; Victor Sanchez seeks monetary relief exceeding $1 million. The case is assigned Case ID 2025-04679 under Judge Wanda Chambers in Harris County's 152nd Judicial District Court.
