A shocking incident involving a dog attack has led to a legal battle in Harris County, Texas. Plaintiff Blanca Solano filed a complaint against Jeffrey F. Krol on February 12, 2025, at the District Court of Harris County, accusing him of negligence after his German Shepherd allegedly attacked her while she was delivering food to his residence.

According to the lawsuit, Blanca Solano was performing her duties as a DoorDash delivery driver on February 7, 2025, when she arrived at Jeffrey F. Krol's home located at 3007 Lawrence Street in Houston. Unexpectedly and without provocation, Krol's unrestrained German Shepherd attacked and bit Solano. The plaintiff claims that the defendant's failure to restrain or supervise his dog directly resulted in her suffering serious bodily injuries. The complaint highlights several points of alleged negligence by Krol, including failing to prevent harm from the dog, not properly restraining or supervising it, and neglecting to train the animal against such vicious behavior.

The lawsuit seeks monetary relief ranging from $250,000 to $1 million for damages including medical expenses, pain and suffering, physical impairment and disfigurement, as well as lost wages and loss of earning capacity. Solano is demanding a jury trial and has paid the necessary fee for this request. Her legal team argues that due to Krol’s actions or lack thereof, she has sustained significant injuries that warrant compensation.

In addition to seeking financial restitution for her injuries and losses, Solano’s attorneys have issued a Rule 193.7 notice indicating that any documents produced by the defendant may be used in pre-trial proceedings or at trial without needing further authentication. This strategic move underscores their preparedness for litigation and intention to hold Krol accountable under Texas common law for his alleged negligence.

Representing Blanca Solano are attorneys Sarah Y-Nhi Huynh, Pavel “Paul” Savinov, and Michael Alvarez from Huynh Law PLLC based in Houston. The case is being heard in the 295th Judicial District Court of Harris County under Case ID 2025-09832.
