A recent court filing has brought to light a serious incident involving a metal pole accident at a construction site, raising questions about safety and negligence. On April 9, 2025, Martha Bravo filed a complaint in the District Court of Harris County against Lee & Associates - Houston, Aundrea, LLC, and Pintail Demolition & Construction, Inc., alleging premises liability and negligence.

The case stems from an incident on May 17, 2023, when Martha Bravo was injured by a falling metal pole while visiting a property at 5999 Savoy in Houston. The building was under construction and later became the Academy of Accelerated Learning Middle School. Bravo claims that the defendants—Lee & Associates as the management company, Aundrea LLC as the property owner, and Pintail Demolition & Construction as the remodeling company—were aware or should have been aware of the hazardous condition posed by the improperly installed metal pole. According to Bravo's petition, "the metal pole dividing the two front doors fell and landed on Plaintiff's right foot," causing significant injury due to its improper installation during construction.

Bravo accuses all three defendants of failing to maintain safe premises and neglecting their duty to prevent harm to invitees like herself. She argues that they breached their duty by not warning about or rectifying the dangerous condition despite having control over the premises. The lawsuit outlines multiple instances of alleged negligence: failure to place warning signs or cones around the hazard area, lack of proper safety procedures for employees, inadequate training and supervision of staff regarding safety protocols, and insufficient inspection practices.

In her petition, Bravo seeks monetary relief exceeding $250,000 but not more than $1 million for damages related to physical injuries that are permanent in nature. She also requests compensation for medical expenses incurred due to her injuries and anticipates future medical costs. Additionally, she demands prejudgment and post-judgment interest along with court costs.

Represented by attorney Briana Crozier from Crozier & Rogers PLLC based in Dallas, Texas, Martha Bravo is pursuing justice through this legal action against Lee & Associates - Houston (a domestic corporation), Aundrea LLC (a foreign corporation), and Pintail Demolition & Construction Inc. (a domestic corporation). The case has been assigned Case ID 2025-24848 in Harris County's 152nd Judicial District Court.
