Brenda Medina has filed a lawsuit against three entities following an incident that left her seriously injured. The complaint was filed on April 4, 2025, in the District Court of Harris County, Texas, naming Will Clayton Parkway, LLC, New Timber Forest C-Store, Inc., and Cintas Corporation No. 2 as defendants. Medina alleges that negligence on the part of these companies led to her injuries sustained from a fall caused by a hazardous condition at their premises.

The case revolves around an incident that occurred on April 8, 2023, when Brenda Medina visited the property located at 11711 Will Clayton Parkway in Humble, Texas. According to the complaint, both Will Clayton Parkway, LLC and New Timber Forest C-Store, Inc. owned and controlled the premises during this time. Meanwhile, Cintas Corporation No. 2 was responsible for delivering and placing a rug on the premises—a rug that allegedly became the cause of Medina's fall due to its worn and improperly secured state.

Medina claims she entered the property with the intention of shopping but suffered severe injuries when she tripped over a bunched-up rug that was frayed and not properly adhered to the floor. She asserts that this dangerous condition was known or should have been known by all defendants through ordinary care and maintenance practices. The lawsuit accuses each defendant of negligence for failing to inspect and maintain safe conditions on their property or provide adequate warnings about potential hazards.

The plaintiff is seeking monetary relief ranging from $250,000 to $1 million for damages incurred as a result of her injuries. These damages include past and future medical expenses, physical pain and suffering, mental anguish, physical impairment, disfigurement, and other related losses.

Representing Brenda Medina is attorney Cassandra Evans-Jones from Houston-based law firm CE Jones Attorney at Law. The case is presided over by Judge Marilyn Burgess in Harris County's 215th Judicial District Court under Case ID 2025-23354.
