Festus Osifeso has filed a lawsuit against several corporations following a shocking incident at a restaurant. On April 4, 2025, Festus Osifeso lodged the complaint in the District Court of Harris County, Texas, targeting Nomad X LLC, Nomad X LLC DBA Nameless by Nomad, and Pangea Global Cuisine, LLC. The lawsuit stems from an incident that occurred on March 3, 2025, when Osifeso was electrocuted after stepping on a live wire outside the restaurant Nameless By Nomad.

The complaint details how Festus Osifeso visited Nameless By Nomad located at 6009 Beverly Hill Street in Houston. During his visit, he stepped outside to take a phone call and accidentally stepped on a live wire, resulting in severe injuries. Osifeso claims that this accident could have been prevented if the defendants had implemented basic safety measures. The plaintiff accuses the defendants of premise liability and negligence for failing to ensure a safe environment for their patrons. According to the petition, "Defendants owned, occupied, and/or controlled the area where Plaintiff was injured," and they failed to warn him of the dangerous condition or make it reasonably safe.

Osifeso's legal team argues that both Nomad X LLC and Pangea Global Cuisine were negligent in their operations. The lawsuit asserts that Pangea Global Cuisine allowed Nomad X LLC to operate on its property despite knowing or having reason to know that it was unfit to do so safely. This negligence allegedly contributed to creating an unreasonable risk of danger to individuals like Osifeso who frequented the establishment.

In seeking justice for his ordeal, Festus Osifeso is asking for damages exceeding $1 million. He seeks compensation for past and future physical pain and suffering, mental anguish, medical expenses incurred and anticipated in the future, lost wages or loss of earning capacity, loss of household services and enjoyment of life, court costs, exemplary damages as well as prejudgment and post-judgment interest as permitted by law.

Representing Festus Osifeso are attorneys George Oginni and John A. Leo from Leo & Oginni Trial Lawyers PLLC based in Houston. The case is filed under Case ID 2025-23401 with Judge Marilyn Burgess presiding over proceedings at Harris County's 129th Judicial District Court.
