BEAUMONT— A Port Arthur man is suing the city of Port Arthur, alleging negligence after he says he was hit by a bin being emptied by a waste collection truck.
Three individuals filed a lawsuit against a municipality and its employee alleging negligence in a 2013 automobile crash that they claim severely injured them. Joshua Bean, Nancy Hulett and Elizabeth Alexander filed a complaint against the City of Beaumont and Edward Stuart in Jefferson County District Court June 16, claiming liability in a December 2013 collision.
An employee allegedly injured at the workplace has filed a petition to depose her employer and gather information to determine if she should sue over he injuries.
