A couple is suing the driver and the company he works for over injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.
Frances and Sam Daleo filed a lawsuit March 10 in the Jefferson County District Court against Terry Love and Turner Industries Group L.L.C., citing negligence.
The lawsuit states the Daleos were passengers in a 2006 Toyota Sienna driven by Michael Knox on May 16, 2012, and were traveling east on Ellen Lane in Beaumont when Love, driving a 2011 Chevrolet pickup truck on Margaret Lane, didn’t stop at a stop sign and struck the vehicle the Daleos were riding in.
Frances Daleo sustained serious injuries, according to the complaint.
The couple is seeking damages as the court deems, plus interest and court costs.
