Man sues driver after rear-end accident on MLK

A man is suing another driver over claims he sustained injuries in an accident.


Joel Wallace filed a lawsuit March 13 in the Jefferson County District Court against Louis Edward Herbert, citing negligence.

The lawsuit states Wallace was stopped at a light on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at Cardinal Drive with Herbert traveling behind. Herbert failed to stop and rear-ended Wallace, causing damages to his vehicle and injuries, according to the suit. 

Wallace is seeking damages in an amount within jurisdictional limits of the court, pre-judgment and post-judgment interest, plus court costs.

Wallace is being represented by Brett S. Thomas of Roebuck, Thomas, Roebuck & Adams.
