In the District Court of Harris County, Texas, plaintiff Farhad Rahmani has filed a lawsuit against Northtown Auto Center GP, LLC. The case, identified as Cause No. 2024-21 2/3 and filed on April 4, 2024, alleges negligence on the part of the defendant leading to serious bodily harm and loss for the plaintiff.

Rahmani was an employee at Northtown Auto Center's location at 5420 N. Shepherd Dr., Houston, TX 77091. On February 16, 2024, while refilling a customer's propane tank, an explosion occurred causing severe injuries to Rahmani. The plaintiff is represented by Christopher Matthews and seeks to serve the defendant through its registered agent, Seyed Tabatabai.

The plaintiff contends that Northtown Auto Center failed in its duty to provide proper safety equipment and training necessary for safely performing work tasks. The complaint details several alleged failures by the defendant including ignoring requests for assistance from Rahmani and failing to implement proper safety protocols for employees engaged in filling propane tanks. The lawsuit claims damages exceeding $1,000,000 including penalties' costs, expenses, pre-judgment interest, and attorney’s fees.

Rahmani is seeking monetary relief for his serious bodily injuries and losses incurred due to the alleged negligence of Northtown Auto Center GP, LLC. He asserts that such negligence was a proximate cause of the incident in question.
