On March 25, 2024, Valentin Romero and Cupertino Castelan filed a lawsuit against Paradigm Consultants in the County Civil Court at Law No. 1 in Harris County, Texas (Case ID: 1224884). The plaintiffs are seeking monetary relief of $250,000 or less for personal injuries and lost wages allegedly caused by the negligence of Paradigm Consultants' employee.

Romero and Castelan, both residents of Harris County, were involved in a vehicular accident on April 3, 2023. They claim that an employee of Paradigm Consultants violently struck their vehicle while leaving a gas station near the intersection of Aldine Bender Road and Chrisman Road. The defendant's driver is accused of failing to exercise reasonable care while operating the company's truck.

The plaintiffs allege that Paradigm Consultants was negligent in managing and supervising its vehicles and employees. They argue that this negligence was a proximate cause of the collision that resulted in their injuries and lost wages. The company is also accused of failing to establish, implement, or enforce reasonable safety rules and procedures for its employees.

Romero and Castelan are seeking damages for their personal injuries, lost wages, punitive damages, attorney's fees, and costs. They have requested a jury trial to resolve this matter.
