Asuncion sues Exxon Mobil Corporation for the fatal shooting of Adam Reyes

In the District Court of Harris County, Texas, plaintiffs Asuncion and Eloise Reyes, both individually and as representatives of the estate for Adam Reyes, have filed a lawsuit against Exxon Mobil Corporation, Spring Partners Retail LLC, SPR Operator LLC, and an individual referred to as John Doe. The court case ID is 2024-27183 and it was filed on April 26th, 2024.

The lawsuit revolves around the tragic incident that occurred on October 17th, 2023. Adam Reyes was fatally shot by John Doe, a store clerk at Exxon-Timewise store located at #850, 2402 S Wayside Dr., Houston. The plaintiffs claim that the shooting was unjustified as Adam did not present any threat of bodily harm to anyone present at the store. The plaintiffs are represented by their lawyers while the defendants can be served through their registered agents - Corporation Services Company d/b/a CSC-Lawyers Incorporation Service Company.

The plaintiffs seek monetary relief of over $10 million for damages incurred due to this incident. They reserve the right to amend this damage calculation as discovery progresses in the case.
