Osman Geovanny Rodriguez Colindres has filed a lawsuit against a construction company and its owner, alleging negligence that led to severe injuries at a job site. The complaint was filed on January 29, 2025, in the District Court of Harris County, Texas, naming Koppy Konstruction, Inc. and Larry J. Rios as defendants.

The case revolves around an incident that occurred on June 27, 2024, when Colindres was injured while working at a construction site managed by the defendants in Harris County. According to the petition, Colindres was instructed to lift a concrete slab using small jacks and wooden posts. During this task, one of the wood posts dislodged and struck him in the face, resulting in serious injuries. The plaintiff claims that these injuries were due to negligence on the part of Koppy Konstruction and Larry J. Rios. Specifically, the complaint accuses them of failing to provide proper training and supervision, neglecting safety protocols, and not maintaining safe working conditions or equipment.

Colindres is seeking monetary relief ranging from $250,000 to $1 million for damages including medical expenses, pain and suffering, physical impairment and disfigurement, lost wages, and loss of earning capacity. He also demands a jury trial to resolve these claims.

Representing Colindres are attorneys Sarah Y-Nhi Huynh from Huynh Law PLLC and Hilda Leonor Sibrian from The Law Offices of Hilda L. Sibrian P.C., both based in Houston. The case is filed under Cause No. 2025-05875 in the 152nd Judicial District Court of Harris County.
