BEAUMONT – A Bridge City resident is suing H-E-B Food Stores for injuries he allegedly received after driving a motorized shopping cart off a sidewalk.
HOUSTON – A Georgia woman claims that she experienced a slip and fall at a Texas-based supermarket chain’s local distribution center over the summer and has pursued legal action.
A woman who was working at a Beaumont H-E-B last May apparently slipped while reaching to pick up a can of hairspray that had been dropped by the person stocking the shelves.
While shopping at a Beaumont H-E-B two years ago, Carmelita Bluiett stepped in a puddle of cleaning solution and slipped. On Aug. 4 she filed suit against HEB Grocery in Jefferson County District Court, alleging the company failed to warn her of the danger. According to the lawsuit, on Sept. 21, 2013, Bluiett was shopping at the H-E-B on 11th Street when “she slipped and fell due to a puddle of cleaning solution which had been left on the floor by and employee of the defendant.” Bluiett argue
