A man is suing a Beaumont dance hall that he alleges failed to protect him from a physical attack. Daniel Brack filed the lawsuit against the Dixie Dance Hall, The Dixie Dance Hall Ltd. and Crockett Street Entertainment Inc. in Beaumont on Aug. 13 in Jefferson County District Court. Brack says he was at the Dixie Dance Hall in Beaumont on Dec. 28, 2013, when he was assaulted and seriously injured.
A man has filed suit against the driver he claims made an unsafe lane change, causing a collision. He also names his insurance company as a defendant, saying it refused to pay medical costs associated with the incident.
