GALVESTON — A woman is claiming her knee was sliced opened after she tripped and landed on a sharp object sticking out of the ground at a Galveston gas station. Adriana Barajas filed a complaint March 5 in the Galveston County District Court against Southwest Universal Inc., and Southwest Universal Inc., doing business as Unique Food Mart alleging negligence.Barajas was at a gas station in Galveston owned and operated by the defendants on Aug. 4, 2018.
